The current inflation situation means your money isn't going as far as it used to, and you might find it difficult to get credit. Recession is hard on everyone and the possibility of retrenchment is a real threat. If you lost your job, would you have enough money to tide you over until you could find employment again?
If you are in debt trouble, plan your own budget and work out how to cut back on your spending. Also open a savings account and save wherever you can.
